Scott Brancheau is a marine mammal behaviorist who has worked with various species of marine animals, particularly killer whales. He is best known for his work with SeaWorld, where he worked for over 20 years. Brancheau is the husband of Dawn Brancheau, a senior animal trainer at SeaWorld who tragically died in 2010 during a performance with the killer whale Tilikum. Scott has since dedicated his life to advocating for the welfare and conservation of marine animals, and continues to work in the field of marine mammal behavior and training.
